The firm was founded by Hector L. Nieves Jr., whose experience includes years of firsthand municipal land-use work and service on the City of Paterson Planning Board. That background provides a practical understanding of how development applications move from concept through professional coordination, municipal review, public hearings, deliberation, and post-approval conditions.
Nieves Development Consulting LLC applies that perspective to help clients organize their strategy, understand the process in front of them, coordinate their professional team, and prepare for consequential meetings and decisions.

Hector L. Nieves Jr. brings firsthand experience with development applications, site plans and subdivisions, variances and waivers, professional testimony, public hearings, board deliberations, conditions of approval, application deficiencies, and the procedural issues that can slow a project down.
His approach is direct and highly organized: understand the project, identify the process, surface obstacles early, align the team, and keep the client prepared for the next step.
